Hi All,

Friday night's Splash N Dash at the lake attracted a large crowd of competitors and spectators. We all appreciated Kyle Gear's efforts as race director to bring us such an exciting evening of racing. Thanks to Kyle also to the many volunteers who assisted during the event, we couldn't do it without your help.

Our Christmas function is on this Saturday evening. We need you to RSVP for catering arrangements so please get that done today. See attached for more details.

OTHER NEWS:

1. Mooloolaba Triathlon is almost fully subscribed.

2. Jerome Bosman's sends a big hello to all his tri club friends. He is finally having some down time after working 12-13 hrs a day for forever (guess we can take his word on that!)

3. There was a bit of unintentional biff happening as competitors rounded Geoffrey the croc on Friday evening. Poor Jodie McLeod copped a hefty right hook which cut her eye and left her pretty shaken.

4. We wish Vincent Gilly a speedy recovery from injuries received in a bike crash last week. Vincent t-boned a car which had run a red light. Broken ribs and other injuries mean Canberra Half won't be happening for him unfortunately.

5. Ali Fitch is sporting a new go faster haircut for IM WA.

6. Looking for an exotic location for a triathlon adventure? Event date has been announced for the inaugural India Triathlon Goa - 14 February 2010

7. Don't forget the date change for our Christmas Splash n Dash at Nightcliff Pool. The traditional combined event with the juniors has been moved to Saturday 5 Dec 09 due to a pre booking at the pool.
