Robyn's E News 8 March 2010

Hi All,

Excuse me while I spill tears of frustration. The world's best E News went down the gurgler due to ........ mmmmm perhaps my multi tasking skills aren't up to scratch this morning.

The good news is that our juniors were in action down at Lake Alex yesterday morning. They went through a run, swim, run format due to the Lake closure. I hear there was some very good form on show. Thanks to all those who assisted with the event. The kids are now looking forward to the NT Junior Triathlon C'ships on 21 March.

Race 1 of our annual Sprint (& Women's) Series kicks off this weekend at Palmerston Pool. With much of our attention lately focussed on our long distance lovers, the word is there are a lot of short course specialists eager to show off their form prior to Newcastle (21 March) and Mooloolaba (28 March). Thinking there will be some slick times on Sunday.

RD Barry Sullivan needs a couple of volunteers for the bike turnarounds on Sunday (see next event details).
