Robyn's E News 21 July 2010

Hi All,

We are so lucky the fantastic weather is continuing. It's so balmy these days, many at swim squad have put their wetsuits away !

Priority for this E News is to request again that intending competitors and teams get their entries in for Finlay's NT Long Course Triathlon (15 August 2010). It's a very simple online process this year (see www.triathlonnt.com.au ).

Final numbers & sizes for T shirts are required this weekend. Those who haven't entered by then risk getting an incorrect tshirt size (or no shirt at all).

Please note that entries close 5pm 11 August (the system shuts down then) and there is definitely NO LATE ENTRY. Numbers are creeping up to a very pleasing level and include a couple of interstaters.

A huge thank you to those who have already said they aren't competing and have volunteered to head for Lake Bennett to help out on the day.

NEXT EVENTS:

1. Friday 23 July 2010

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN...

... there’s a separate load of laundry every week that is just your workout clothes.
... one of your goals this year is to be faster at getting out of your wetsuit
... you failed high school chemistry but you could teach a course on lactic acid.

Safe Training,
Cheers,
Robyn

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN...

... the guys at the bike shop know more about you than your next-door neighbour
... there is a group of people in your life about whom you are more likely to know how fast they can swim 100 metres than their surnames or occupations
... the magazine secretly tucked under your mattress has pictures of really expensive bicycles in it.

Safe Training,
Cheers,
