Robyn's E News 29 April 2013

Hi All,

As in previous years, the Teams Event went off in style yesterday at Lake Alexander.  We had Team Old Skool running around looking very retro, Team Tiger’s tails were wagging, Team Pirate was brandishing the odd cutlass and Team Sink or Swim were taking the mickey out of themselves. Team Young Guns looked the part and Team Tropicana had to have been the best dressed, long sox and all!
Team Fluoro and Team Rainbow were very colourful indeed.

A big thank you, RD Tony Cox for organising the event and thanks also to all the other wonderful volunteers who helped out and made the morning’s mayhem enjoyable for all.

While the big kids were having fun, our juniors were under the watchful eye of Jason Jones and helpers who put our younger members through their final tri on their calendar.  Great to see the skill level of the juniors increase during the course of the series.

… the smell of your stinky running shoes no longer bothers you
… nothing feels as good as being ridiculously freaking fit
