Photo: Handicap event at Lake Alex gets underway with a staggered start !

We had a fantastic turnout for our handicap event yesterday at Lake Alexander. Race preparations got under way by brilliant moonlight & most of us came covered in insect repellent to ward of the mozzies.

Thanks to RD Chad Anderson and the many, many volunteers who assisted with this event. The format was enjoyed by all competitors. It was great to be out there seeing not just the "usual" competitors around you and judging by results, many were spurred on to greater effort.
