Hi All,
How disappointing for our juniors ! Organisers had to make the call to cancel the junior event at Lake Alex yesterday. With the rain bucketing down that hard, it wasn't a difficult decision to make. Safety first ! The kids will be looking forward to lining up in a fortnight.
When the rain finally stopped, and the BOM radar was favourable, many of our members were spotted out there completing their postponed training. There is a large group of our members heading over early next month for Asia-Pacific Ironman 70.3 Championships at Phuket so plenty of training action is happening.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE NEW TO TRIATHLON WHEN...
...you "catch up" you don't do it in the pool
...your sunglasses are big and round or change colour
...breaststroke is your fastest stroke
Train safe, race hard,
Cheers,
