Robyn's E News 24 Jan 2011

Hi All,

Ah, the wet season ... you have to love training in it! With a whole swag of events coming up here at home, down south and overseas, it seems everyone is out and about on the bike, running or swimming. And that means we are wet, wet, wet most of the time.

We have had a number of new members sign up since Christmas which is fantastic. A big welcome to our club and we look forward to seeing you all at Race 2 of the Aquathlon Series on Saturday evening.

A short week workwise with Australia Day in the middle. There will be plenty to do ... as well as the perfect opportunity (if weather permits) to get some quality training in. We also have the Australia Day Fun Run happening as well as the Australia Day Fun Ride.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN ...

... you were out training in one of weekend's downpours and enjoyed being wet and dirty
... you have are ready for bed but it's only 8pm
... your laundry continually smells like someone locked the cat in overnight

Safe Training,
Cheers,
Robyn
