OTHER NEWS:

1. The cycle club advise that the Hidden Valley rides started up again last Thursday with a good roll up and weather permitting this Thursday is on again. They remind cyclists that to ride at Hidden Valley and in the other participation events/group rides etc you will need to have a "Cycling for All" license. Check the website for costs. www.darwin.cycling.org.au

2. Simon Cruickshank is over in NZ preparing for Coast to Coast this weekend. Apparently it's bucketing rain and the trial paddle was cancelled because it was too wet !

3. British Triathlon has introduced a rolling membership scheme which is similar to one that TA are also looking into.

4. Media watch: See attached from Saturday's NT News

5. 2011 Fannie Bay Swim date has been changed to 26 June

6. Alice Springs Triathlon Club had the first of their sprint events last weekend. Numbers are up and enthusiasm high. Our members are welcome to participate so if you are heading down to Alice check before you leave to see if they have something on.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN ...

... you empathize with the roadkill
... you are happy to discuss the connection between hydration and urine colour
... you view bike crashes as an opportunity to upgrade components

Safe Training,
Cheers,
Robyn
