Hi All,
We had a good turnout for the NT Duathlon yesterday at Hidden Valley. RD Matt Brearley set up a fantastic course and the racing was fast and furious and very competitive. Our thanks to Matt and all the many volunteers who helped with the event. Our club members are absolutely fantastic at getting it right for race day and their efforts are much appreciated.
After almost an hour of awesome competition, fair racing and changing fortunes, the battle between Grant Preddy, Kyle Gear and Matt Brearley was sorted, well sort of ! Result: a dead heat between Kyle and Grant. Congratulations to both.

More tri-words ...
... Bottle Shock – When you reach behind to grab a bottle from your back cage and it is gone. You realize it probably popped out 3 kms back when you rode over the train tracks.
... Cycleroma – The smell of a room after an indoor bike workout. The smell is exponential to the number of people in the room.
... Fungoo – The residue on your bike frame from gels and drinks
Safe Training,
Cheers,
Robyn
