OTHER NEWS:

1. Congratulations to Korgan & Tiziana Hucent who recently announced they are expecting a second visit from the stork early next year.

2. Be on the lookout for the appearance of compression socks at club races, they were everywhere in Kona. Thinking the wearers must end up with some funny tan lines.

3. Keep a look out for PowerBar gel blasts, yummy & convenient.

4. The funniest thing I saw in Hawaii was Fernanda Keller going down to the swim start in full makeup.

5. The most amazing thing I saw in Hawaii was how totally focussed Craig Alexander looked in the lead up days and on race morning.

6. I had the pleasure of running alongside Chrissie Wellington at one stage. Only thing was, she turned right towards the finish chute and I turned left and still had 40km to go!

7. For the girls out there, Norman Stadler is real.

8. For the guys out there, Cervelo was everywhere.

9. I've probably missed a few results and/or news items recently so if you would like to forward it would be appreciated.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN…

… you spend the equivalent of house deposit on Finishers gear at Ironman (not me but I saw it happen)
… you are feeling hungry and your first thought is maybe you need a gel

Triathlon 3 x the fun
Cheers
Robyn
