Robyn's E News - 3 Nov 08

Hi All,

Those of you who were at Nightcliff Pool yesterday morning will have been inspired by the enthusiasm of the many youngsters competing. The kids (and bikes) came in all sizes. Some of the juniors were very new, others are now very experienced and have their transitions down pat. The junior committee is to be congratulated on their efforts to secure sponsorship for this season. Jerome's donation also went a long way to providing extras to encourage the kids. Thanks to all concerned, the juniors are off to a flying start this season.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE WHEN...

... you get kicked in the face & your goggles come off & you are treading water trying to get them back on while people hit you - you remember you paid good money to do this.
... you walk around race expos looking for free stuff
... you can cope with standing in lines (for registration, for carbo dinner line, for bike check in, for body marking, for bag drop off, for chip check, for porta loo, etc etc)

Safe Training,
Cheers
Robyn
