Robyn's E News - 4 Feb 09

Hi All,
Hoping it's not just me struggling out there on the bike in the wind. The temptation to ride too far with the wind behind you really bites when you turn around! Just keep saying, "I love the wind, I love the wind" as you turn those peddles...

ARAFURA GAMES NEWS:

1. Arafura is not far off now and arrangements for the race on 10 May are well underway. Triathlon NT Technical Delegate, Phil Blumberg, is putting together a team of Technical Officials for the race. If you are not intending to race but were planning to watch or help out in some way, then acting as a TO is the ideal way to get right amongst the action.
Being a TO is not an arduous task, it will help you sharpen up your knowledge of the rules and it will give you a different perspective on Triathlon. If you are interested in being involved as a TO please contact Phil on phil.blumberg@nt.gov.au or phone him at home on 89852758.

Triathlon Australia are sending a highly qualified Race Referee but the race can't proceed without a team of TOs so your support is important.
