You know the end of the year is just around the corner when our very popular Splash N Dash events start appearing on the calendar.
It's also exciting that we are heading to a new location - this will be our first event at the Wave Pool lagoon so hope to see you all there on Friday evening making tri history !
Our juniors continued their season with a triathlon at Lake Alexander yesterday. The youngsters are looking very experienced these days and the newer kids are very keen to reach that level. They have a large band of volunteers supporting them who make safety and fun the top priority. Our thanks to all those who assisted with the juniors yesterday.

1. Sports Performer of the Year (winner receives $50,000) nominees have been announced. I'm unashamedly recommending that you cast your vote for Craig Alexander (Ironman Triathlon) at http://www.performerawards.com.au/ . It would be great if we could get Crowie up after his two Hawaii Ironman (2008 & 2009) wins and I encourage you all to go online now and vote. It will only take 5 minutes and you could win a prize for doing so.
2. We have a new little tri baby - Congratulations to Rosie & Mark on the arrival (Friday afternoon) of baby Erin Anzin ! Erin weighed in at 8lb 1oz and is 47.5 cm long. She is a little cutie.
3. Spots for Ironman UK 70.3 filled in less than a week keeping up the trend of early field fill ups at M Dot events.
4. Noosa was a wet suit swim and a bit drizzly. Courtney Atkinson came down on the bike but still managed to gather himself together enough for another win.
