5 The 2010 ITU end of season swim, bike & run standings are up. The best swimmers this year were Dmitry Polyansky (RUS) and Laura Bennett (USA); Bike honours went to Bruno Pais (POR) and Lisa Mensik (NED). Best runners in 2010 were Jan Frodeno (GER) and Paula Findlay (CAN).

6. Our injured trio are getting on with it. Sue Parora has a new cast on her wrist and was kicking her way up and down the lanes of Nightcliff Pool; Jac Crofton, arm dangling, was under a tree & powering through a windtrainer set and Ali Fitch is weaning herself gradually off her neck brace & was spotted in the pool as well.

Words of wisdom ...

... We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.
... Evening news is where they begin with 'Good evening', and then proceed to tell you why it isn't.
... Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Safe Training,
Cheers,
Robyn
