Photo: Reserve Order Triathlon underway at Lake Alexander

Hi All,

Did you Ride to Work today?

We had a great response to our tri suit & club shirt order and the order has been placed. Unfortunately we didn’t receive enough orders to go ahead with the men’s swimmers or the ladies one piece. Those who ordered these items will receive an email shortly regarding refunds.

There is another big tri weekend coming up with the running of our first School Sport NT Triathlon at Lake Alexander on Sunday. Numbers are modest, expected for a first time junior event, but we will be making sure the kids have a great experience.

HOW CAN YOU HELP AT OUR EVENTS?

1. Even if you are not a rostered volunteer there are many small things that you can do that will assist at our events.

2. It’s a given that all participants help set up and pack away our equipment. Even if you only put one rack back in the trailer it helps. Ask the RD of the day if there are any buoys, witches hats or signs that you can help put out or pick up.

3. Please put any rubbish in a garbage bag. Can’t see a bag? They are kept in our race box near the registration table ~ feel free to get one out if needed.

4. Not competing? You can assist us by helping prepare post race refreshments (cut up fruit, ensure drinks are on ice etc).

5. One of the best ways to help is to ensure you are early to our events. Our registration volunteers are often competitors themselves and need to get registration closed on time so they can be ready to listen to the race brief as well.

6. If you have a particular skill that could be of benefit to our club, please feel free to chat to any of our committee or email darwintriclub89@bigpond.com
