E News 29 October 2012

Hi All,

For once we didn’t mind getting wet!  How good was it to cool down yesterday morning after a run of scorcher days & nights?  A few punctures happened but mostly everyone was just happy to be rain wet rather than sweat wet!

We have our much anticipated Enduro event taking place on Sunday.  The format is 250m swim, 5km bike, 1km run x 3.

Think about your organisation as you set up on race morning. You need to be extremely neat.  The pace gets fast and furious and we have previously had people heading for the swim in sunglasses, out on the run with their goggles in their hand, and trying to ride off without a helmet. As well as a great physical hit out, this one is also brain gym!

Our RD Scott needs a couple of extra helpers (see note below) for Sunday.
